WW2 USAAF 8th AF uniform group - SGT. Merle S. Morris - 448th BG Seething. Really nice original, untouched uniform grouping to a Sergeant Merle S Morris of the 448th bomb group, serving out of Seething. The grouping consists of a service jacket, trousers, 3x shirts - 2x tan and 1x green, along with 2 garrison side caps. With multiple pieces named to Morris, with handwritten names in several pieces. Research by the previous owner shows Morris was a bomb specialist and was based with the 448th bomb group at Seething; he would have been responsible for arming munitions and loading planes with their bomb loads, etc.
All pieces of clothing are in excellent condition, with no damage or issues to report, bar some creases from years of storage; this really is a nice little grouping, kept together since the war.
Overall, a really nice tunic, ideal for any USAAF museum, display, or collection.
